Elders

Congregations of churches of Christ are autonomous. What this means is that they do not have a centralized governing body on this earth beyond the local body. However, as the New Testament scriptures teach, local congregations have elders who shepherd or oversee the flock at the local level (Acts 20:28). Summit is blessed with three men who are qualified and willing to serve in this capacity.
