In these last days there has come times of difficulty. How do we regain a healthy civilization? A good place to start is 2 Timothy 3.

1 But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. 2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, 4 treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God…

· Lovers of self leads to loving money to keep up the image. Instead of posting our “brilliant opinions” we should again, in humility, share God’s Word.

· Trashing parents is constantly piped in over social media into the hearts of our developing children. Parents take back what you allow into your homes.

· Right and wrong (law and order) are being marginalized. With kindness, tenderheartedness, forgiveness, and uplifting speech we should strive to build up all (Eph.4:29).

· Self-pleasure is the current goal. Instead of “taking care of ME” we should return to being lovers of God.

But in all of this, if the end game is not, the salvation of the soul, all is for nothing. Friend, unless you repent and are baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, for the forgiveness of your sins so that you might receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, God cannot add you to His Church (Acts 2:38-47).
