Jesus Christ. It is the name above all names. It keeps our focus, cleanses our hearts, and anchors our faith. And by so doing its disciples do not get derailed into the downward spirals of hatred that fill our world.

He is also the only God before which all humanity shall kneel. Philippians 2:9–11 (ESV) — 9 Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, 10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

The 11th commandment is not to get caught up in hatred (Lev.19:17-18) but to display love for one another. John 13:34–35 (ESV) — 34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. 35 By this all people will know that you are my disciples if you have love for one another.”

Friend, look up to the light. Do not get caught up in the world’s culture and customs because it will alter your character. Like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego defy hateful bullies as you walk the path of love.
